Moving to a new town after the death of their uncle, Harvey Sopher, struggles to acclimate to their new surroundings. Plagued by horrific dreams and crippling anxiety, Harvey needs to solve the mystery of their subconscious before it’s too late. Written and illustrated by me as part of my 4th-year thesis.this story was originally created as a short comic which I eventually developed into a 12 chapter script. The story itself holds a deep personal connection to me and I hope it hold a similar meaning to others that will take the time to read it.Chapter two is currently in progress and will be released sometime late 2025.

Dungeons and DungeonsA D&D-inspired board game with simplified rules of the original game meant as a gateway into the DnD universe. This easy-access tabletop encourages those nervous to start an otherwise “hard to get into” franchise. The game promotes roleplay and the creation of new rules, as the true element of Dungeons and Dungeons is to make your own fun! This project was developed during my second semester as part of my 4 month advanced thesis class.

Annihilation Gate is a video game concept art package taking place in a hyper-punk fantasy futuristic world. The package comes as a small zine, exploring characters and environments that might appear as part of the proposed “open-world gameplay.” The story follows a group of hired mercenaries, each with their own storyline and abilities the player can uncover. Throughout the game, the player must make important decisions, choosing who to work with, who to fight, and who to kill. These decisions are important to the storyline—they can either save the world or lead it to certain annihilation.

Above is a title screen mockup for the game concept “End of Oblivion”, made in Blender for the motion part of the project.
The Model itself was made using Cinema 4D and Blender for animation. Music was made with Beepbox.coDuring my 3rd year at Sheridan, my class was tasked with developing a project with the theme of “space”, where I proposed 3 ideas for development. “End of Oblivion” was the winner of these choices and was made as another video game concept package.

Hey!
My name is Kori Veronese, and I am a graduate of Sheridan's Bachelor of Illustration program!
In the future, I'd like to help create concepts and narrative work for books, movies, characters, and video games, specifically anything with a futuristic or fantasy genre. I thoroughly enjoy going in-depth with captivating character and environment designs to help portray any idea.
